This deal comes after Eugene Omoruyi’s 10-day contract expired. Omoruyi did not play a game for the Raptors and now he will return to the G League.
Robinson played in 9 games with the Sacramento Kings before waived. In those contests, he averaged 2.1 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 6.3 minutes per game before being waived on Jan. 7.
Robinson averaged 17.0 points and 7.8 rebounds on 47.2 percent shooting from the field and 17.6 percent shooting from three-point in four games with Stockton in the NBA G League Tip-Off Tournament and regular season.
The 24-year-old center has appeared in 76 career NBA games with the Miami Heat and Kings, posting career averages of 3.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, in 10.3 minutes per game.
The Raptors are eligible to sign Robinson to one more 10-day contract before deciding whether or not to offer him a standard contract.
Robinson will help Toronto’s frontcourt depth as he will be behind Jakob Poeltl and Kelly Olynyk.
