The Toronto Raptors are currently being viewed as a seller with opposing teams looking at Jakob Poeltl and Bruce Brown.

Poeltl has become a steady frontcourt presence for Toronto. However, Brown still remains sidelined with a lingering knee issue. But, seeing how he won a championship with the Denver Nuggets, he is still viewed as a championship player.

With trade season unofficially starting on Dec. 15, rumors have running rampant.

That being said, Nathaniel Holloway of Athlon Sports proposed a hypothetical trade between the Raptors and Denver Nuggets.

His trade involves Michael Porter Jr. and Zeke Nnaji being sent to Toronto for Brown and Poeltl.

Ultimately, draft capital is a deal breaker here seeing how well Poeltl has played this season. Despite Brown being sidelined, the Raptors could still demand draft compensation seeing how much he meant to the Nuggets.

For Toronto to give up two quality role players while taking back long-term salary in Porter Jr. and Nnaji, there needs to be adequate draft compensation.

Porter Jr. has $40 million left on his contract after this season. Meanwhile, Nnaji has three-years remaining on a newly signed $32 million extension.

Money aside, Porter Jr. would be a big boost to the Raptors offense. Scottie Barnes, Immanuel Quickley, RJ Barrett and Porter Jr., would make for an intriguing core. However, this just seems like too much for Toronto to give up.

Hypothetical Raptors trade sees Andrew Wiggins to Toronto

This is not the first time Holloway presented a hypothetical trade involving the Raptors. He presented another intriguing one involving the Golden State Warriors.

He presented the idea of fellow Canadian Andrew Wiggins coming to Toronto in exchange for Jakob Poeltl and Bruce Brown.
