Bam Adebayo dominated with 21 points, 16 rebounds, and five assists. In comparison, Tyler Herro led all scorers with 23 points as the Miami Heat secured their fourth consecutive victory, defeating the Toronto Raptors 114-104 on Thursday night.

Nikola Jovic scored 14 points, while Jimmy Butler and Dru Smith each scored 11 for Miami, which continued its strong play at home.

Gradey Dick paced the Raptors with 22 points, while Jakob Poeltl added 16. RJ Barrett recorded a triple-double with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists but struggled from the field, shooting just 5-for-18. Toronto dropped to 1-12 on the road this season.

Takeaways

Raptors: Toronto began another stretch without All-Star forward Scottie Barnes, who sprained his right ankle in Monday’s game against New York. Barnes previously missed 11 games this season due to an orbital fracture.

Heat: Miami continued its strong perimeter shooting, converting 13-of-32 three-pointers. Herro led the way from deep, making four of his seven attempts.

Key Moment

Trailing by 16 early in the second quarter, Miami flipped the momentum by outscoring Toronto 33-10 for the remainder of the half. Jovic was instrumental in the rally, scoring 11 points and hitting two three-pointers during the run.

Key Stat

Miami dominated the glass, outrebounding Toronto 52-42. The Heat have now posted double-digit rebounding advantages in all three wins during their current homestand against the Lakers, Suns, and Cavaliers.

Up Next

Both teams return to action Monday night, with the Raptors hosting the Chicago Bulls and the Heat traveling to face the Detroit Pistons.
