Jimmy Butler led the Miami Heat with 26 points, Tyler Herro added 23, and Bam Adebayo recorded a triple-double as Miami defeated the Toronto Raptors 121-111 on Friday night.

The Heat attempted 54 three-pointers, hitting 21, marking the third-most three-point attempts in franchise history. Miami has taken 56 in a game on two occasions.

Adebayo finished with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists, securing his triple-double by grabbing a late board following a Butler airball. Jaime Jaquez Jr. contributed 15 points as Miami improved to 9-8, climbing back above .500.

Scottie Barnes registered a triple-double for Toronto with 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. RJ Barrett led the team with 25 points, while Jakob Poeltl delivered an efficient performance, scoring 24 points on 10-for-11 shooting and pulling down 10 rebounds.

Takeaways

Raptors: Bruce Brown remains sidelined as he recovers from right knee surgery. “We’re being cautious with his return. His health and conditioning come first,” said Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic.

Heat: Butler has been in peak form, shooting 61% (35-for-57) over his last five games since returning from an ankle injury.

Key Moment

After falling behind 79-77 during a 12-0 Raptors run, the Heat responded emphatically with a 19-2 surge, reclaiming a 96-81 lead with 43.7 seconds left in the third quarter. Miami maintained control the rest of the way.

Key Stat

For the first time in franchise history, Miami had 10 different players attempt at least two three-pointers in a single game. There had been three instances where 10 players attempted multiple threes, but this was the first time every player who stepped on the court did so.

Up Next

The two teams meet again on Sunday in Toronto.
