Former Toronto Raptors wing O.G. Anunoby is trying to build something special with the New York Knicks.
After getting to the end of the line in Toronto, Anunoby got traded to New York with the hopes of winning at a higher level.
Now, the Knicks have tremendous pressure on them with the addition of Mikal Bridges and Karl Anthony-Towns.
In a weak Eastern Conference, the path to a championship is there, but the Boston Celtics remain the favorite until proven otherwise.
Unfortunately, the Knicks are off to a slow start as they try to make all these new pieces come together.
In a thrilling game against the Chicago Bulls at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 13, Anunoby had a funny encounter with a celebrity.
As the former Raptor went to try and save a loose ball, he collided into the scorer’s table. That is where actress Anne Hathaway was sitting and she nearly had Anunoby dive into her.
After the conclusion of that game, Hathaway took to Instagram to share her experience:

Anunoby would comment “you’re welcome,” under her post, which garnered thousands of likes.
As a person, not many people know what Anunoby is like, personality wise. But, his humor is subtle and seems to be nonchalant.
This is what makes it funny due to the unpredictable nature of what the forward is going to say. For a player that does not spend time in the media spotlight, it is good to see Anunoby in stories like this.
Celebrities are always courtside at MSG, so they understand the risk of being on the floor. This interaction is going to be one of the funniest moments of the season.

When getting traded, it is hard for players to adjust to a new city, teammates and playstyle. But, it seems that O.G. Anunoby and his Knicks teammates are getting along fine.
