DeMar DeRozan has the support of Sacramento Kings owner Vivek Ranadive.

Ranadive showed up to Wednesday night’s game against the Toronto Raptors wearing a t-shirt that read “they not like us,” which is a lyric from Kendrick Lamar’s song “Not Like Us.”

Lamar and DeRozan have been in an ongoing rap feud with Toronto rapper Drake:

Ranadive wore the shirt in response to Drake’s comments during last week’s Kings game in Toronto. Drake was on the TSN broadcast and said that he would tear down  DeRozan’s banner if the Raptors organization ever decided to retire his jersey. Drake also called DeRozan a “goof” on the broadcast.

DeRozan responded to Drake’s comments saying that Drake would have a long way to climb if he wanted to tear down his jersey one day.

DeRozan and Drake were previously close friends in Toronto. Drake gave DeRozan a shoutout in his song “Lemon Pepper Freestyle,” which pointed out how much Toronto loves DeRozan. Even when DeRozan was traded to the San Antonio Spurs in 2018, Drake put out a heartfelt Instagram post calling DeRozan a “brother.” Drake has since deleted that photo since their relationship has taken a turn for the worst.

Of course what started this bad blood between Drake and DeRozan was when DeRozan appeared in Lamar’s music video for “Not Like Us” and then was on stage dancing alongside Lamar during one of his live performances.

Scottie Barnes ranked no. 6 in Bill Simmons’ 2021 re-draft

The Ringer’s Bill Simmons put out his 2021 re-draft list and he ranked Barnes as the No. 6 player in the draft class on an episode of “The Bill Simmons Podcast.”
