Ja’Kobe Walter is nearing a return with the Toronto Raptors.
Raptors first-round pick has been assigned to the Raptors 905, according to Louis Zatzman of Raptors Republic.
Walter has worked his way back from an AC joint injury and he will begin his rookie season in the G League. He will not be available tonight agains the Denver Nuggets. Ulrich Chomche has also been sent to the G League for assignmenta and will not be available for Monday night.
The Raptors have listed RJ Barrett as questionable for tonight’s game. It’s the second straight game the Canadian has been listed as questionable as he works his way back from an AC joint sprain that has kept him sidelines since Toronto’s first preseason game.
It appears the Raptors will be without Immanuel Quickley who continues to tend to a pelvic injury. He’s been listed as doubtful and this will be the third straight game he’s missed.
The Raptors will continue to be without Kelly Olynyk and Bruce Brown who continue to be sidelined. Olynyk is dealing with an ongoing back injury, while Brown has been recovering from offseason knee surgery.
If Barrett doe suit up, Ochai Agbaji will head back to the bench for Toronto. Davion Mitchell should continue to be the starter in place of Quickley.
The Raptors will look to win their second game of the season when they host the Denver Nuggets tonight.
