The Toronto Raptors take on the Boston Celtics once again at 7:00 p.m. ET at Scotiabank Arena.

The Raptors lost to Boston on Sunday, 115-111, which featured a disappointing first-half effort. However, Toronto dropped 74 points in the second-half to make things interesting.

Granted, the Celtics did not play their starters. Payton Pritchard, Jordan Walsh and Lonnie Walker IV came out the gates firing.

For Toronto, Gradey Dick led the team with 18 points, shooting 5-for-10 from three-point range and played better in the second-half. Scottie Barnes put up 10 points, while Jakob Poeltl and Jamal Shead chipped in with 14.

After coming off a poor offensive showing last Friday against the Washington Wizards, Sunday was a step in the right direction.

Toronto ended up shooting 46.7 percent from the field and 40 percent from three-point distance. While it did not result in a win, it is reassuring to see this Raptors offense thrive when they are missing Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett.

Hopefully, the Raptors can replicate last game’s second-half offensive performance and sustain it for 48 minutes.

Unfortunately, the Raptors will remain without Quickley, Barrett, Bruce Brown and Kelly Olynyk. With tonight being the second to last preseason game, that leaves one last opportunity to knock off some rust before the regular season.

For the reigning champion Celtics, they are expected to rest their starters once again. After getting some reps together in their first three preseason games, there is no need to risk potential injury.
