Sam Mitchell lost his cool.

The former Toronto Raptors head coach turned NBA analyst got heated with his co-host Chris Miles in a segment on NBA Gametime Live on Friday night.

The two were coming out of a highlight package that featured Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Steve Kerr being honored for winning a gold medal at the Paris Olympics and then things took a turn for the worst.

“I’m surprised coaches get a paycheck for this show. I think like, maybe you should do this pro bono, my friend,” Miles joked.

“Why don’t you come up off some of that money you got? Since you’re over there bragging about it,” Mitchell said.

“Oh, I’m sorry. Did you rent your beach house out, down in Florida, during the hurricane? Or do I need to go on. How ’bout your townhouse?” Mitchell continued.

Miles tried to move on from the conversation, but things got even more weird.

“You wanna call me out. I mean, come on. You screaming broke and hungry. Let’s just see it. You know, I know what you have and where you live, young fella. So you need to stop,” Mitchell said.

Miles moved into the highlight package for the Warriors game, but Mitchell wouldn’t stop.

“I done told you, young fella, you gotta stop messing with me on national TV. I done told you about that,” Mitchell said. “Hey, do I need to give out the address? ‘Cause you’re not at home right now.”

The most bizarre part about it is that Mitchell did eventually reveal Miles’ address live on air during the segment.

Mitchell coached the Raptors from 2004-2008, winning the Coach of the Year Award in 2007. The Raptors fired him in 2008 after an 8-9 start. Mitchell was supposedly involved in a physical altercation with Vince Carter during the 2004-05 season, according to former Raptor Jalen Rose. However, Mitchell denied the incident ever happened. It’ll be interesting to see where things stand with Mitchell’s broadcasting career after this incident.

Scottie Barnes returns as Raptors fall to Wizards

The Toronto Raptors fell short to the Washington Wizards in their second preseason contest 113-95.

This was an ugly game that saw the Raptors shoot 35.8 percent from the field, 21.2 percent from three and commit 23 turnovers along with 32 fouls.

Chris Boucher led Toronto with 22 points and 7 rebounds. Meanwhile, Scottie Barnes returned to NBA action for the first time since March 1 and put up 16 points an 8 rebounds.
