Another former Toronto Raptors player in Svi Mykhailiuk has found a new home.

Mykhailiuk spent last season with the Boston Celtics, appearing in 41 games and starting in two of them.

He averaged 4.0 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.9 assists on 41.6 percent shooting from the field and 38.9 percent shooting from three.

This proved to be enough to earn him a four-year, $15 million contract with the Utah Jazz, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN:

After playing for seven teams in his career, Mykhailiuk is looking for a long-term home. Given how Utah signed him to a four-year contract, this could finally be it.

For his career, Mykhailiuk played 293 games and averaged 6.3 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists on 40.4 percent shooting from the field and 36.3 percent shooting from downtown.

Coming into the league, Mykhailiuk earned a reputation of being a sniper from three-point range coming out of Kansas. But, he has yet to spend more than two seasons with a team, that lone team being with the Detroit Pistons.

Going back to the Jazz, since they are a rebuilding team, there is nothing to lose. However, the contract’s details have yet to be revealed on whether all four years are guaranteed.

In relation to Toronto, Mykhailiuk played for the franchise in 2021-22 and appeared in 56 games, starting in five. He averaged 4.6 points, 1.6 rebounds and 0.8 assists on 38.9 percent shooting from the field and 30.6 percent shooting from three-point range.

Two former Raptors win first NBA championship with Celtics

Notably, Mykhailiuk won his first title with the reigning champion Boston Celtics as they were the best team in the league all season long.

However, Mykhailiuk was not the only former Raptor to win a title as Oshae Brissett did as well.
