The Toronto Raptors will look to make it 2-0 in Summer League when they take on the Denver Nuggets.

The Raptors had a dominating performance against the Oklahoma City Thunder and they will look to build from that.

Gradey Dick had a solid Summer League opener for the Raptors. He didn’t shoot the ball well but he still found a way to impact the game. He finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals. If Dick is able to get his shot to fall, he could have an even bigger game against the Nuggets.

Ochai Agbaji had a rough start to his Summer League. The 24-year-old, third-year player still has a lot of room to grow. His defense remains good, but he’ll need to do more offensively especially since he’s the veteran on this roster. The hope is that Agbaji can develop a consistent jump shot and shows improvement in that area.

Ja’Kobe Walter had a quiet Summer League debut. The rookie struggled to shoot the ball, but Sunday is another opportunity for the 19-year-old to get into rhythm. Walter’s defense looked good, but he’ll need to connect on his jumpshots.

The Raptors other rookies will get another chance to show what they can do. Jamal Shead showed off his impressive defense against the Thunder. He helped Toronto wrack up 16 forced turnovers. Jonathan Mogbo had a quiet night only taking one shot but he did have 6 rebounds. Also, Ulrich Chomche showed off his great size and defense. He finished with 8 rebounds.
