The 2024 Paris Olympics are fast approaching.
Canada Basketball has announced the official roster of Team Canada men’s basketball for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The 12-player roster includes:

RJ Barrett (Mississauga, Ont.)
Khem Birch (Montreal)
Dillon Brooks (Mississauga, Ont.)
Luguentz Dort (Montreal)
Melvin Ejim (Toronto)
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Hamilton, Ont.)
Trey Lyles (Saskatoon, Sask.)
Jamal Murray (Kitchener, Ont.)
Andrew Nembhard (Aurora, Ont.)
Kelly Olynyk (Kamloops, B.C.)
Dwight Powell (Toronto)
Tipoff for the group stage is set for July 27 and will conclude on August 4.
The knockout round begins on August 6 with the gold medal game for men set to be played on August 10.
Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray headline a Canadian men’s basketball team that is loaded with NBA talent.
Team captain Kelly Olynyk and RJ Barret will represent the Toronto Raptors on Canada’s roster, which also includes World Cup standout Dillon Brooks of the Houston Rockets and Luguentz Dort of the Thunder.
Led by Gilgeous-Alexander, Brooks and Barrett, Canada finished the 2023 FIBA World Cup with a bronze medal, their first medal in the tournament.
Canada’s men’s basketball team will be making its first Olympic appearance since finishing seventh at the 2000 Sydney Games.
Raptors sign Ulrich Chomche to two-way contract
The Toronto Raptors have signed Ulrich Chomche.
The Raptors have reportedly signed the No. 57 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft to a two-year, two-way contract.
He will join the Raptors and Raptors 905 next season, according to Sportsnet’s Blake Murphy.
Chomche will fill Toronto’s final two-way spot, alongside DJ Carton and Branden Carlson. All three players will split time next season between Toronto and Raptors 905.
