Toronto’s four draft picks Ja’Kobe Walter, Jonathan Mogbo, Jamal Shead and Ulrich Chomche are all excepted to make their debut.

They are expected to be joined by rookies Quincy Guerrier and Branden Carlson.

Ochai Agbai is reportedly expected to be wth the team as well, according to Esfandiar Baraheni.

Toronto’s full roster and coaching staff for summer league will be announced at a later date.

This year marks the Raptors’ 16th appearance at NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. The Raptors finished 2023 NBA Summer League with a 1-4 record.

Some other important NBA Summer League games include: Canadian Zach Edey’s debut. He will be in action on July 12 when the Memphis Grizzlies take on the Sacramento Kings at 6 p.m. ET.

Also, Bronny James is expected to play for the Los Angeles Lakers on July 12 at 7:30 p.m. ET when the Lakers take on the Houston Rockets.

Raptors pick up $23 million option on Bruce Brown’s contract

The Toronto Raptors are keeping Bruce Brown at least for now.

The Raptors are picking up the $23 million option on his contract, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

The expectation now is that the Raptors will use Brown as a trade chip. Toronto had been trying to trade Brown since acquiring him in the Pascal Siakam trade in January.

However, the Raptors were unable to find a deal for Brown leading up to the trade deadline. Toronto was hoping that a contender would trade for Brown and surrender a first-round pick for him.
