Tristian Da Silva could be on the Toronto Raptors radar ahead of the 2024 NBA Draft.

The senior forward out of Colorado said he worked out for the Raptors during the pre-draft process.

He also told reporters in New York he enjoyed his time in the city, per the Toronto Star’s Libaan Osman:

“I really like the city. Very diverse, a lot of different cultures, a lot of different foods.”

NBA prospect Tristan Da Silva worked for seven NBA teams during the pre-draft process, including the Toronto Raptors.

Da Silva is projected to go in the Raptors draft range. At 23-years-old, Da Silva is considered an older prospect as he spent the past four seasons with Colorado. Over the years he’s developed into a solid three-point shooter. He averaged 16.0 points, 2.4 assists and 5.1 rebounds for the Buffaloes while shooting 39.5 percent from deep this past season. His three-point shooting would be a nice boost for Toronto.

Other than his outside shooting, Da Silva is a well-rounded player who can move off-the-ball. He’s a versatile 6’8 forward who can also attack within the flow of the offense. He’s a smart and patient player who takes what the defense gives him and makes the right play.

If the Raptors want to go with a more experienced and mature player instead of a younger developmental prospect then Da Silva could be an interesting choice for them if he’s still on the board at No. 19.

The draft is set for June 26 and 27.

Landry Shamet receiving interest from Raptors

NBA free agency kicks off on June 30 and this is when a lot of player movement will begin including signings and trades.

Rumors are beginning to surface connecting players to teams. One player is Washington Wizards guard Landry Shamet, who is being linked to the Raptors according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
