The NBA Draft is this week on June 26 and 27.

The Toronto Raptors will have No. 19 and No. 31 in this year’s draft.

As the Raptors zero in on their selections, final mock drafts are starting to come out.

One prospect who has been linked to the Raptors a ton leading into this week’s draft is Kyshawn George out of Miami.

Kyle Boone of CBS Sports projects George landing with Toronto at No. 19:

“Toronto values toolsy prospects with length and smarts and, well, check and check here with George. He had a fabulous, if surprising, freshman season at Miami and has intrigued teams with his size and shooting ability.”

In his freshman season with Miami, George averaged 7.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game on 40.8 percent shooting from deep. His three-point shooting is the compelling part of his game. At 6-8, George could become a lethal shooter at the NBA level.

The Raptors were one of the worst three-point shooting teams last season so they could use George’s perimeter shooting to space the floor.

Another strong compliment to George’s perimeter shooting and size is his playmaking ability. He has very good passing IQ and makes the smart plays on offense.

George is a smooth and fluid mover and his ability to knock down open shots will help the Raptors. His outside shooting is very effective, but George needs to diversify his game and improve scoring inside the arc. This past season, 68.4 percent of his shots came from beyond the arc.

It’ll be interesting to see if the Raptors end up taking George at No. 19.

The Ringer ranks Scottie Barnes No. 41 in top 100 players list

The Toronto Raptors are in the midst of a rebuild.

They’re hoping it won’t be a long one and that their core of Scottie Barnes, Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett will flourish together. These are the three players the Raptors will be investing in moving forward.

The Ringer recently put out their top 100 player ranked, which includes the three Raptors mentioned.
