The Toronto Raptors have an important upcoming 2024 NBA Draft.

They are currently slated to pick at N0. 19 and 31 as they are hoping to find some hidden gems.

One prospect who has been linked to Toronto a ton through mock drafts is Kyshawn George out of Miami. He’s got great size for a wing and could help the Raptors shooting woes.

In Jonathan Wasserman’s latest mock draft on Bleacher Report he has George going to the Raptors at No. 19:

“Kyshawn George received a green-room invite, an indication that the late-season and predraft buzz is valid.

Scouts have been drawn to his size for a guard, shooting and ball-handling, a combination that creates an enticing archetype. His lack of strength and explosion inside the arc does hint at risk, but he’ll receive interest in the teens as a 6’7″ live-dribble passer who shot 40.8 percent from three.”

George is an intriguing prospect who could fit in nicely alongside Toronto’s young core. His greatest strength is shooting and that could help a Raptors team that was one of the worst three-point shooting teams last season.

Next, at No. 31 Wasserman has the Raptors selecting Bobi Klintman from Cairns Taipans:

“Bobi Klintman leaves NBA combine week as a classic fringe first-rounder—interesting enough to go in the 20s to a team that loves the big-wing archetype and two-way versatility, but not sharp enough in any one area for teams to confidently project what strengths/skills will translate.

He looked comfortable shooting in Chicago, and teams that ultimately buy his three-ball carrying over and improving could deem Klintman worth taking in the first round.”

The Raptors have one week to finalize their selections before they head to the podium. The goal for the team should be to add the best available player at each selection.

The draft is set for June 26 and 27.

The Ringer projects Ja’Kobe Walter to Toronto at No. 19

Currently situated with picks No. 19 and 31, there are plenty of intriguing options for the Toronto Raptors.

Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer put out his recent mock draft and he has the Raptors taking Ja’Kobe Walter out of Baylor at No. 19.
