Pascal Siakam is staying with the Indiana Pacers.
The former Toronto Raptors forward has reportedly signed a four-year, $189.5 million max extension with the Pacers, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The deal won’t be made official until July 6 when free agency officially begins:

This comes as no surprise as the Pacers traded for Siakam on Jan. 17, sending Bruce Brown, Kira Lewis Jr., Jordan Nwora, and three first-round picks to Toronto.
Siakam expressed that he did want to stay with the Raptors, but the two sides couldn’t get a deal done. Now, Siakam will be staying with the Pacers for the foreseeable.
Siakam played in 41 regular season games for Indiana following the trade and averaged 21.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. In the playoffs, he led the Pacers to the Eastern Conference Finals, while averaging a team-best 21.6 points in 17 games before falling to the Boston Celtics.
Siakam is a nice fit alongside Tyrese Haliburton and now the Pacers have their dynamic duo to build around moving forward.
Siakam spent eight seasons with the Raptors. He was drafted 27th overall by the franchise in the 2016 NBA Draft. He helped the Raptors win an NBA Championship in 2019 and he earned the league’s Most Improved Player award. Siakam was a two-time All-Star and two-time All-NBA in Toronto as well.
