The Toronto Raptors are gearing up for the 2024 NBA Draft which is fast approaching.

They will have picks No. 19 and No. 31 to work with on June 26 and 27.

Toronto is reportedly looking to trade up in the draft, however if the Raptors are unable to strike a deal they can still add some solid talent with their current picks.

Kyle Boone of CBS Sports put out his recent mock draft and he has Canadian center Zach Edey falling to Toronto at No. 19:

“A Toronto-born superstar, Edey heads back home to play for the Raptors after back-to-back National Player of the Year campaigns at Purdue — the first to do so since Ralph Sampson. He’s 7-foot-4 and a bit of a throwback stylistically, but his production and size should get him looks in this range of the draft.”

Edey recently had a workout with the Raptors at the OVO Athletic Center. Edey is one of the most intriguing prospects at this year’s draft and he could help a Raptors team that is in need of frontcourt depth.

Next, Boone has the Raptors taking Cam Christie out of Minnesota at No. 31:

“Christie was a surprise one-and-done after a brilliant freshman season at Minnesota. Another year in college might’ve done him well, but he also might play his way into top-20 consideration this time next year. Perhaps it’s a discount for an investment at No. 31.”

He is the younger brother of Los Angeles Lakers guard Max Christie. Cam started in 26 of his 33 appearances, averaging 11.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 0.6 steals. He shot 39.1 percent from three-point range. Christie was also named to the 2023-24 Big Ten All-Freshman team.

ESPN lists biggest need and best fit for Raptors at No. 19 in latest mock draft

Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Woo of ESPN put out their latest mock draft and they looked at picks that fill the biggest need and are the best fit for each team.

Givony listed Kyshawn George as the pick that fills the biggest need for the Toronto Raptors.
