The 2024 NBA Draft times are set.
For the first time ever the NBA Draft will be a two-day event, which will separate the two rounds. The first round of the draft is set for June 26 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and ESPN, the league announced on June 3. The second round of the draft will take place on June 27 starting at 4 p.m. ET.
The Toronto Raptors will have two picks in this year’s draft. They will have No. 19 via the Indiana Pacers and No. 31 via the Detroit Pistons. This means the Raptors will make the first pick of the second-round.
The Raptors missed out on a top-six pick after their own first-round pick fell to No. 8 and was conveyed to the San Antonio Spurs as compensation for the Jakob Poeltl trade from 2023. The Raptors second-round pick is owned by the Pacers.
There is a lot of speculation about who the Raptors will draft. The Raptors have been working out a ton of prospects, including Canadian big man Zach Edey out of Purdue.
The No. 1 pick of the NBA Draft belongs to the Atlanta Hawks. The rest of the lottery includes: Washington Wizards, Houstons Rockets (via Brooklyn Nets), San Antonio Spurs, Detroit Pistons, Charolette Hornets, Portland Trail Blazers, Spurs (via Raptors), Memphis Grizzlies, Utah Jazz, Chicago Bulls, Oklahoma City Thunder (via Rockets), Sacramento Kings and Portland Trail Blazers (via Golden State Warriors).
Bleacher Report has the Raptors drafting Zach Edey at No. 19
A name that has been linked to the Raptors a lot lately at No. 19 is Zach Edey.
Jonathan Wasserman of Bleacher Report put out his latest mock draft and he has Toronto taking Edey.
