Former Toronto Raptors star Pascal Siakam is having himself quite the Eastern Conference Finals.

Despite the Indiana Pacers being down 0-2, Siakam has played extremely well.

Siakam in two games against the Boston Celtics has averaged 26 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists with 0 free throw attempts. He’s the first player in NBA history to have 50+ points with 0 free throw attempts in the first 2 games of the Conference Finals, per StatMamba.

Siakam is doing all he can to try and keep the Pacers afloat in this series. Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young recognized Siakam’s brilliance and took to X to praise him:

This why they got Pascal.. Changed their team!

— Trae Young (@TheTraeYoung) May 24, 2024

Siakam did change the Pacers. He has been the ultimate complimentary piece to Tyrese Haliburton and he has been able to showcase his entire skillset.

The Siakam experiment has gone well in Indiana so far. The Pacers were able to make it to their first Eastern Conference Finals since 2014.

Siakam is an unrestricted free agent this summer and he will earn himself a nice contract. With the way he’s been playing he will certainly get a max contract. Siakam is free to sign with any team he wants to but it’s hard to imagine the Pacers not getting a deal done with him long term.

With the way the Pacers have set themselves up, they should be one of the top teams in the East moving forward.

However, it looks like they will run out of gas against the Celtics this year.

The Pacers had a golden opportunity to steal Game 1, but too many costly mistakes down the stretch ruined their chances.

Siakam and the Pacers are in a do or die situation tonight. They must win Game 3 to give themselves a shot or else this series is virtually over.

FanNation projects Kel’el Ware to Toronto

The 2024 NBA Draft is five weeks away. The Raptors will have two picks to work with owning No. 19 via the Indiana Pacers and No. 31 via the Detroit Pistons.

There are many different directions the Raptors can go in. FanNation put out their latest mock draft and they project the Raptors taking big man Kel’el Ware out of Indiana.
