The Toronto Raptors have suffered a new low.
The team just endured their worst loss in franchise history losing to the Minnesota Timberwolves by 48 points (133-85).
To be fair the Raptors were severely shorthanded for this one. They rolled out a starting lineup of Immanuel Quickley, Gradey Dick, Jalen McDaniels, Malik Williams (who they just signed) and Garrett Temple.
Toronto had Mouhamadou Gueye, Jordan Nwora and Javon Freeman-Liberty come off the bench as the team only dressed eight players.
Quickley, Dick and Javon Freeman-Liberty all had 16 points for the Raptors, who have lost 15 straight. The Raptors have not won a game since March 3rd.
The Raptors stood no chance against the Timberwolves.
Anthony Edwards scored 28 points, Naz Reid had 23 and Rudy Gobert had 11 as the Timberwolves did move into a tie for first-place with the win.
The Raptors had a ton of injuries in this one. Gary Trent Jr. was a late scratch with back spasms, Bruce Brown was out with a knee injury, RJ Barrett sat out this one resting his knee and Kelly Olynyk sat out due to rest.
Malik Williams made his NBA debut for the Raptors and started for the team the same day he signed a 10-day contract.
The former Louisville big man averaged 11.1 points and 9.3 rebounds per game this year for Sioux Falls of the G League. Williams was held scoreless in his Raptors debut but grabbed 5 rebounds and had 2 blocks in his debut.
The Raptors are closing in on making franchise history as the team is now just 2 losses shy of tying their franchise worst 17-game losing streak.

The Raptors certainly will not be favored next game when they travel to Milwaukee to take on the Bucks.
The Bucks are coming off a loss to the Memphis Grizzlies so anything is possible.
