The Toronto Raptors have made another 10-day signing.

Toronto is signing Malik Williams to a 10-day contract out of the NBA G League’s Sioux Falls Skyforce, per The Athletics Shams Charania.

The 6-11 big man has averaged 11.1 points, 9.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks for Sioux Falls:

The Toronto Raptors are signing center Malik Williams to a 10-day contract out of the NBA G League’s Sioux Falls Skyforce, agent Brian Jungreis of Seros Partners tells @TheAthletic @Stadium. The 6-11 big man has averaged 11.1 points, 9.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks for Sioux Falls.

Williams went undrafted in the 2022 NBA Draft and spent last season with Anwil Wloclawek of the Polish OBL where he averaged 8.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 17.7 minutes in 31 games.

Williams played college hoops at Louisville where he averaged 7.2 points, 5.5 rebounds and 17.9 minutes in 123 games over five NCAA seasons (2017-22).

With Jakob Poeltl sidelined and Jontay Porter under a gambling investigation, the Raptors will add another center to their depth chart.

Kobi Simmons’ 10-day contract expired Tuesday night, which created this open roster spot for Toronto as they continue to give different players chances as they close out the season.

Williams’ 10-day deal will bring him until the end of the Raptors season against the Miami Heat.

Toronto had previously signed Mouhamadou Gueye, DJ Carton, Jahmi’us Ramsey, Justise Winslow and Simmons to 10-day contracts. The two-way deals belong to Gueye and Carton.

The Raptors 7 remaining games this season come against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Milwaukee Bucks, Washington Wizards, Indiana Pacers, Brooklyn Nets, Miami Heat and Heat again.

The Raptors will put their 14-game losing streak on the line when they visit the Timberwolves tonight.

Latest ESPN mock draft has Raptors taking Matas Buzelis at No. 6

With the season all but over for the Raptors, it is time to look ahead to the 2024 NBA Draft. As mock drafts continue to come out, discussions are being had about who the Raptors should take if they keep their 2024 first-round pick.

A name that has been linked to the Raptors at that selection is Matas Buzelis.
