The Toronto Raptors get set to host the Golden State Warriors.
The Warriors have been on a groove lately winning 10 of their last 12 games. They have also won 7 straight on the road following their 110-99 victory over the the New York Knicks.
The Warriors will take on Toronto on the second night of a back-to-back so they may be affected by fatigue.
Due to mechanical issues with their plane, the Warriors did not arrive at their Toronto hotel until 7:15 a.m. per Sportsnet’s Michael Grange.
Despite that Stephen Curry will play for the Warriors in Toronto. It will be Curry’s first appearance in Toronto since Game 4 of the 2019 NBA Finals.
Brandin Podziemski, Gui Santos are doubtful and Andrew Wiggins is out.
The Raptors have four players listed on their injury report: Chris Boucher, Javon Freeman-Liberty, Markquis Nowell, and Jontay Porter. Chris Boucher is questionable with an illness, Javon Freeman-Liberty is out with a G League two-way, Markquis Nowell is out with a G League two-way, and Jontay Porter is out with a G League two-way.
The last time the Raptors took on the Warriors they blew them out in Golden State 133-118. RJ Barrett had his best game as a Raptor finishing with 37 points, 6 assists and 6 rebounds.
Scottie Barnes did struggle in that one only posting 6 points. The All-Star looks to have a bounce back game against the Dubs.
