The Toronto Raptors have become an integral part of the sports culture in Canada.

The Raptors have one of the most passionate fan bases in the league.

Thankfully, the Raptors rewarded the city of Toronto with a championship in 2019. Now, as the team goes through a rebuild, the Raptors are looking to return to the mountaintop soon.

Basketball is an increasingly popular sport in the city of Toronto and country of Canada. It will only continue to skyrocket for the foreseeable future.

The Raptors are now reportedly valued at $4.11 billion, making them the most valuable sports team in Toronto, via Sportico:

The @dallascowboys are the most valuable sports team in the world at $9.2 billion, based on Sportico’s most recent franchise valuations.

In the grand scheme of things, Toronto ranks No. 48 in the entire world when it comes to the most valuable sports teams. They are said to be earning $347 million in annual revenue and the value of the Raptors grew 23 percent over the past year.

Other teams in Toronto, like the Blue Jays and Maple Leafs, are now in the rearview mirror of the Raptors. This shows just how far the Raptors have come since coming into the NBA.

However, there is still more work to be done as the Raptors look to recapture their winning ways.

Study found Raptors fans were second most vulgar fanbase in NBA

In general, when it comes to sports, fans view it as an outlet from their daily lives. People are passionate about the sports they like, specifically basketball, as there are millions of fans all over the world.

A study was conducted by Betway to see which NBA fanbase features the most vulgar fans. Raptors fans were the second most vulgar online in the NBA over the last four years.
