Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes recorded 16 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal as the Eastern Conference pulled off the surprise win over the Western Conference 211-186 in the 73rd edition of the NBA All-Star Game In Indianapolis.

The East set the record for most points scored in an All-Star Game.

Barnes’ 16 points were the most by a Raptor at an All-Star Game since Kawhi Leonard in 2019.

Barnes did not play in the first quarter but then checked in to start the second. He missed his first shot but then got on the board with a dunk off an assist from Jalen Brunson:

Barnes went 7-10 from the field and 2-5 from three in 18 minutes of action:

Barnes had many highlights in his first ever All-Star Game, including this coast-to-coast slam:

The East outscored the West in all four quarters on route to the blowout win. Damian Lillard led the East with 39 points and won All-Star Game MVP. He is the first player to win MVP and the 3-point contest in the same weekend.

Barnes was the first to congratulate Lillard on winning the MVP award and he almost poured water on him:

Barnes put up a solid showing in his first of many All-Star Game appearances in his career.

Barnes and the Raptors will have a few more days off before they resume action on Feb. 22 against the Brooklyn Nets.

The Raptors have 27 games left on the season.
