2024 NBA All-Star Weekend Preview: Scottie Barnes Gets Set For Skills Challenge And All-Star Game

Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes has arrived in Indiana.

He will be part of the 2024 Kia Skills Challenge and NBA All-Star Game.

He will be the lone representative from the Raptors this weekend:

Barnes will first participate in the Kia Skills Challenge later this evening.

He will be part of Team All-Stars along with Tyrese Maxey (Philadelphia 76ers) and Trae Young (Atlanta Hawks).

They will take on Team Pacers: Tyrese Haliburton (Indiana Pacers), Bennedict Mathurin (Pacers), Myles Turner (Pacers) and Team Top Picks: Paolo Banchero (Orlando Magic), Anthony Edwards (Minnesota Timberwolves), Victor Wembanyama (San Antonio Spurs).

Barnes will then play in the NBA All-Star Game on Feb. 18. This will be Barnes’ first All-Star Game appearance of his career. Barnes got in as an injury replacement along with Trae Young.

Joel Embiid (Philadelphia 76ers) *out due to injury
Tyrese Haliburton (Pacers)

Paolo Banchero (Magic)
Jaylen Brown (Boston Celtics)
Jalen Brunson (New York Knicks)
Tyrese Maxey (76ers)
Donovan Mitchell (Cleveland Cavaliers)
Julius Randle (New York Knicks) *out due to injury

Barnes at All-Star weekend

This will be a great opportunity for Barnes to be around the best players in the NBA.

The 22-year-old will be able to learn a lot which will help his continued development on and off the floor.
