The Toronto Raptors got dominated by Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs.

Wembaynama went off in his first game in Canada. He finished with 27 points, 14 rebounds and a career-high 10 blocks in his second career triple-double.

Wembaynama was a force to be reckoned with. He blocked Jakob Poeltl and Scottie Barnes a handful of times.

Wembanyama’s previous career high for blocks was eight, set against Memphis on Nov. 18. He currently leads the NBA in that category.

Devin Vassell added 25 points and the San Antonio Spurs snapped a seven-game losing streak by routing Toronto.

The Raptors effort in this one was unacceptable. They trailed the entire game and and at one point were down by as many as 31.

The only bright spots in this game for the Raptors were Gradey Dick and Kelly Olynyk.

Dick scored 18 points from off the bench on 7-10 shooting and 4-5 from three. Olynyk chipped in with 17.

Meanwhile, the Raptors starters were disappointing.

Raptors All-Star Scottie Barnes, who registered his third triple-double of the season on Feb. 10 in a home loss to Cleveland, had just 7 points on 3 of 15 shooting. He did have 9 assists and 9 rebounds but his body language was not good.

He even left the Raptors bench and headed in the locker room with 3.8 seconds left on the game clock. Barnes simply did not bring it for this game.

Immanuel Quickley struggled from the field. He had 7 points on 2-12 shooting and was 1-9 from deep.

RJ Barrett scored 13 points but was a -30. Poeltl scored 12 points and had 5 rebounds but he was no match for Wembanyama.

This is now back-to-back bad loses for the Raptors.

The Raptors will host Pascal Siakam and the Indiana Pacers on Feb. 14.

Siakam was traded by the Raptors to the Pacers on Jan 19. This will be his official return to Toronto.
