The Toronto Raptors have made some moves ahead of their matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Toronto filled up their open roster spots by bringing in some players they know well.
The Raptors have signed Justice Winslow and Mouhamadou Gueye from the Raptors 905 to 10-day contracts.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski announced the Winslow signing:

Then Shams Charania of The Athletic announced the Gueye signing:

Following the Raptors moves at the trade deadline, they had two open roster spots. The team has decided to fill them by bringing in players they have had a close look at.
Winslow is in his ninth season in the NBA and has played for the Miami Heat, Memphis Grizzlies, Los Angeles Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers.
With the 905 this year, Winslow is averaging 16.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists while shooting 50.3 percent from the field. He is also averaging 3.0 steals + blocks a game.
The Raptors also bring in Gueye. He has yet to suit up in the NBA. He went undrafted in 2022 and then spent his first season playing for the Texas Legends, the Dallas Mavericks’ G League affiliate.
Gueye joined the Raptors Summer League squad in 2023 and then he was given a G League deal to play with the 905.
He is averaging 14.3 points points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.4 blocks a game so far this season while shooting 52.1 percent from the field.
Raptors go in-house with their signings
It is nice to see the Raptors go with their own guys and reward them with these contracts.
Toronto is in a rebuild and they continue to show a willingness to develop their players.
