With the NBA Trade Deadline hours away, the Toronto Raptors could look to make a series of moves.

The Raptors have many players on their roster that could be high coveted by contending teams.

One of their players who continues to pop up in trade rumors is Bruce Brown. The 27-year-old won a championship with the Denver Nuggets last season. He could add a lot of value to a team looking to make a playoff run.

The Raptors reportedly want a first-round pick for Brown.

Trying to capitalize on future assets like a first-round pick is very important for a Raptors team currently in a rebuild.

According to Sportsnet’s Michael Grange, a mystery team has offer the Raptors a first-round pick for Brown:

“According to a league source, the Raptors are asking for and have been offered a first-round pick for Brown, who is earning $22.5 million this season and has a team option on his deal for next season worth $23 million.”

As of now the reported offers for Brown have come from the New York Knicks and Utah Jazz.

According to The Athletic’s Frank Katz, the Knicks haven’t included Quentin Grimes in trade conversations for Brown. But instead they have discussed a deal centered around Evan Fournier and draft compensation which could be a first-round pick.

Meanwhile, according to Yahoo Sports’ Jake Fischer, the Jazz have discussed a deal with Toronto. The framework of the trade would send Brown to Utah in return for Kelly Olynyk and Ochai Ahbaji. Fischer said that draft capital could be part of that conversation, but it remains to be seen.

Mystery team wants Brown

Aside from the Jazz and Knicks, the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers have also been linked to the veteran guard.

Both the Bucks and Lakers are looking to win a championship this season and adding Brown would help their second unit.

However, it will come down to the Raptors getting that all important first-round pick in return from whichever team they do business with.
