The NBA Trade Deadline is a few days away.

The Toronto Raptors already did their heavy lifting when they traded O.G. Anunoby to the New York Knicks and Pascal Siakam to the Indiana Pacers.

However, they could be looking to make more moves to continue to tweak their roster.

One player who continues to come up in trade talks is Bruce Brown. The 27-year-old was traded to Toronto in the Siakam deal.

It has been speculated that Brown could be moved before the deadline to a contending team.

Many teams have shown interest in Brown so far. One of the teams linked to Brown is the Knicks. The Knicks have been one of the hottest teams in the league and they could be another trade away from becoming a true title contender.

However, according to Matt Moore of The Action Network, the Knicks may be seeking bigger deals than Brown:

“The Knicks continue to be mentioned as a potential landing spot, but New York has been seeking bigger deals. Brown might wind up being the “Plan B or C” for the Knicks, an outside source suggested.”

The Raptors reportedly want a first-round pick and a player for Brown, so the Knicks will have to pay up to acquire him.

The Knicks have already done business with the Raptors sending Immanuel Quickley, RJ Barrett and a 2024 second-round pick to Toronto for O.G. Anunoby, Precious Achiuwa and Malachi Flynn.

The move has benefitted both teams and it is looking like a true win-win trade.

If the Knicks are unable to land a bigger name before Feb. 8, perhaps they will strike another deal with the Raptors for Brown.

Raptors want first-round pick for Brown

The main asset the Raptors are seeking for Brown is a first-round pick.

The Raptors will not be able to include another player in a trade package with Brown, so they would have to get a player back as well to match his salary.
