The Toronto Raptors appear on the verge of making some significant changes.
Toronto is 11-18 and they are coming off their worst loss of the season against the Utah Jazz.
With the season slipping away Toronto could look to make a big trade to change the direction of their franchise.
Two players who continue to pop up in trade rumors are O.G. Anunoby and Pascal Siakam. Both of them will be unrestricted free agents next summer.
Anunoby and Siakam and expected to get a lot of interest from teams around the league as the trade deadline approaches.
The Indiana Pacers are one team that has been linked to Toronto’s forwards. According to HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto, there’s a player on the Pacers who could move the needle for a potential trade for either Siakam or Anunoby:
“From Indiana’s perspective, it’s worth noting thatJarace Walker played well at the G League Showcase with 31 points on Dec. 19 and could be a potential trade candidate to monitor. Walker, the No. 8 pick in the draft, has played sparingly in his rookie season and could move the needle for a potential trade for either Siakam or Anunoby.”
“Executives from the Pacers and Hawks most notably chatted extensively with Raptors executives at the G League Showcase

Will a Siakam or Anunoby trade happen?
Scotto believes that Siakam is more likely to be traded than Anunoby. He says NBA executives exploring the trade market for wings believe Toronto will do whatever it takes to keep Anunoby in free agency.
According to Scotto, if the Raptors do trade Siakam they will try to get young players with potential and draft pick compensation in return.
It’ll be interesting to see how the next couple of weeks play out for the Raptors.
