The Toronto Raptors have struggled out of the gate this season and haven’t been able to find any consistency.
With the way the Raptors are playing it is hard to think that this team will be able to win three-games in a row any time soon to get coach Darko Rajakovic’s dinner.
Per Keerthika Uthayakumar, the Raptors are off to their worst start in 11 years:
Raptors are 10-15, their worst record through the first 25 games of a season since 2012-13.

The Raptors went 34-48 that season and missed the playoffs.
The Raptors ran their roster back minus Fred VanVleet going into this season hoping to be competitive and compete for a playoff spot.
However, through 25 games it is evident that this roster as constructed doesn’t seemed primed for success and change needs to happen.
To this point the Raptors have avoided making a decision about their future. As a result they have been stuck in the middle.
Masai Ujiri can’t afford to be too patient this time around because O.G. Anunoby and Pascal Siakam are set to become unrestricted free agents in the summer of 2024. So potentially losing them for nothing would be disastrous.
Both players are going to garner a lot of attention in the coming weeks and months leading up to the trade deadline. Therefore, Ujiri has to figure out what his ultimate plan is for the future.
If the plan is to rebuild around Scottie Barnes it makes sense to try to trade one of the two players at the very least to get a big haul in return. The player likelier to be traded in this situation is Siakam.
Toronto seeking Keegan Murray in potential Kings trade
The Sacramento Kings could be interested in doing business with the Raptors.
According to Jake Fischer, if the Kings want to strike a deal with the Raptors, Toronto is expected to seek Keegan Murray in exchange for either Anunoby or Siakam.
