The struggles for the Toronto Raptors continue as they drop their fourth game in a row. The Raptors fall to the New York Knicks 136-130.
Toronto couldn’t stop New York’s offense in this one. The Knicks shot it 60.5 percent from the field and 58.6 percent from three.
The Raptors struggled in the first half with their shooting, but then picked it up in the second half. Overall, Toronto shot it 49 percent from the field and 35.9 percent from deep.
However, the Raptors defense couldn’t get stops. The Knicks got whatever they wanted down the stretch.
Julius Randle led all scorers with a game-high 34 points and RJ Barrett had 27 points. Jalen Brunson who was questionable before the game suited up and dropped 21.
Quentin Grimes who recently got benched for the Knicks led the second unit with 19 points on 5-7 shooting from three.
The Knicks bench outscored the Raptors 49-30.
Toronto had four starters score 20 or more points and six players finished in double-figures but they still couldn’t come away with the win.
O.G. Anunoby led all Raptors scorers with 29 points. Scottie Barnes had 20 points and Pascal Siakam had 20 as well.
Schroder had 20 points and 10 assists and Jakob Poeltl scored 11 points.
Malachi Flynn was the only player from off the bench to score in double-digits with 10. Gary Trent Jr. continues to struggle with his shot. He had 4 points on 2-8 shooting.
December has not been kind to the Raptors as they are still winless in the month.
The Raptors now fall to 9-14. They are a season-high 5 games under .500 and with the loss Toronto is 0-7 against the Atlantic Division this season.

The reeling Raptors return home for a two-game set against the Atlanta Hawks starting on Dec. 13. This will be the first meeting between the two teams this season.
The Hawks are also struggling. They have lost four games in a row just like the Raptors.
With the Raptors season beginning to slip away, they desperately need to bounce back in this spot.
