The Toronto Raptors are a much better team when Pascal Siakam is on his game.
In some of the Raptors signature wins this season, Siakam came up in a big way. The latest example of this is Siakam scoring a game-high 36 points in a wild win over the Indiana Pacers.
Siakam finished the game with 36 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. He was aggressive early attacking the paint and gave the Raptors a much needed boost.
The theme so far this season is when Pascal Siakam is aggressive and is putting up his points the Raptors win. The Raptors have a perfect 4-0 record when Siakam scores 25 or more points this season, per Keerthika Uthayakumar.
In terms of Siakam scoring 30 or more points in a game the Raptors are a perfect 5-0 dating back to last season, per Keerthika Uthayakumar.
Siakam now only need three more 30-point games to pass Chris Bosh for third most in franchise history:

Siakam needs to be consistent
In some of the Raptors loses this season Siakam was essentially a non-factor.
Siakam only put up 8 shots in a loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Oct. 28. He put up 11 shots in another loss against the 76ers on Nov. 2. He had a bad performance against the Boston Celtics in a loss on Nov. 11. Then he had another bad game in a loss against the Milwaukee Bucks on Nov. 15 where he only put up 9 shots. And most recently he had a bad outing in the Raptors loss against the Orlando Magic. He put up 10 shots in that one.
It’s clear to see that Siakam needs to be more aggressive and needs to be more consistent game to game if the Raptors want to break through and be a playoff team this season.
When he has stepped up, the Raptors have proven that they are tough to beat. Let’s see if Siakam can string together a couple of solid performances in a row.
