The Toronto Raptors are hoping to have Precious Achiuwa back soon.
The 24-year-old has misses five straight games so far this season.

Achiuwa was questionable ahead of Wednesday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks, but he was ultimately ruled out before tipoff.
He’s dealing with the same strain that he suffered in the preseason. Achiuawa missed almost the entire preseason but did return for the Raptors’ final preseason game. Then he played in three straight regular season contests before suffering the same injury against the Philadelphia 76ers.
The good news is that Achiuwa did practice with the team earlier in the week, but he wasn’t cleared to play against the Mavericks.
If Achiuwa is once again ruled out, Otto Porter Jr. and Chris Boucher should continue to play in place of him.
The Raptors will get their first look at the new-look Celtics on Saturday night. The Celtics will be on the second night of a back-to-back. Al Horford is out for the Celtics game tonight against the Brooklyn Nets for rest, but he could be available against the Raptors.
Raptors look to end losing streak against Celtics
In their toughest matchup yet, the Raptors will take on the Celtics in Boston. The Raptors haven’t had much success against the Celtics as of late. The Celtics swept the Raptors last season and have won 10 of 12 overall against Toronto.
The Raptors will be entering this matchup on a two-game winning streak. Pascal Siakam, O.G. Anunoby and Scottie Barnes are all coming off solid outings.
This is a matchup where the Raptors are going to need their best players to step up and the bench to do its job. If Achiuwa doesn’t suit up for this one, expect a similar rotation to the one Darko Rajakovic used against Dallas.
