The Toronto Raptors are looking to continue their winning ways after a comeback overtime road win against the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday.

The Raptors are 3-4 as they continue their road trip. They will take on Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks, which is game 3 of their 4 game trip.

The Mavericks come into this matchup 6-1. Doncic lead the way with 29 points in their latest 117-102 win against the Orlando Magic.

On Monday, Dallas dominated the second half, winning the third quarter 33-17. After trailing at halftime, the Mavericks took the game over. Co-star Kyrie Irving chipped in with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists.

The Mavericks also got solid contributions from Grant Williams who had 13 points, Tim Hardaway Jr. who finished with 21 points and rookie Dereck Lively II who had 10 points.

Dallas isn’t shy about their 3-point attempts, putting up 40 attempts against the Magic. The Mavericks shot 15-40 from distance.

Toronto is coming off a thrilling overtime win against the Spurs, winning 123-116 on Sunday in San Antonio.

Scottie Barnes led the Raptors with 30 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. He shot it 9-for-20 from the field and 5-for-10 from 3, making it six straight games where he has scored 20 or more points. He’s looking to make it seven straight on Wednesday.

Newest Raptor, Dennis Schroder chipped in with 24 points and 6 assists, O.G. Anunoby contributed with 24 points and Jakob Poeltl had 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Pascal Siakam has struggled to begin the year. He only put up 8 points on 2-for-12 shooting from the field and was 1-for-4 from 3 in 36 minutes against the Spurs. With an explosive Mavericks offense, Toronto needs all hands on deck in this one.

Darko Rajakovic says he is ‘blessed’ to have a player like Barnes

The Raptors brought in new head coach Darko Rajakovic after a disappointing 2022-23 season.

Rajakovic was a factor in developing the talent in Memphis and now is responsible to develop the talent for the Raptors.

Barnes has had a superb start to his third season and Rajakovic recently said that he is ‘blessed’ to have a player like Barnes.
