The Toronto Raptors fell to the Philadelphia 76ers again. Twice in the span of a week.

Scottie Barnes shined in this matchup, but the Raptors didn’t get much help outside of his production.

Meanwhile, the 76ers had five players score in double figures, including three players scoring 20+ points.

After the 76ers win, Patrick Beverley took to X again and tripled down of his ‘No Dogs’ comment about the Raptors:

Like I said time and time again. No Dogs 😂 @PatBevPod

— Patrick Beverley (@patbev21) November 3, 2023

Last month on the “The Pat Bev Podcast with Rone,” Beverley questioned Toronto’s toughness:

“Who’s the dog of that team? I see O.G. Anunoby in a dark alley, I see Pascal Siakam in a dark alley I don’t feel threatened.”

O.G. Anunoby had a solid outing with 16 points, but Pascal Siakam once again had a disappearing act against the 76ers. He struggled in this one and only scored 10 points.

Beverley continues to strike a cord amongst Raptors fans, but it’s hard to quiet him after the Raptors lost two straight to Philadelphia in the manner that they did.

Siakam has not played with any fire under his belly in the two contests against the 76ers following Beverley’s comments which is concerning.

Someone who has shown the ‘dog in him’ is Scottie Barnes. He continues to be the Raptors constant bright spot this season.

Barnes has scored 20+ points in 5 straight games. He had another solid outing in this one finishing with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists.

The Raptors will now have to wait unit Dec. 22 to try and get some revenge over Patrick Beverley. That’s when Toronto takes on Philadelphia next.

Raptors unveil new jerseys

With the NBA In-Season Tournament about to begin on Nov. 3, the Raptors officially revealed their new City Edition jerseys.

The Toronto Raptors’ new look court for the In-Season Tournament features the colors black and gold, matching their new jerseys.

Toronto will begin their In-Season Tournament schedule on Nov. 17 against the Boston Celtics.
