With the In-Season Tournament kicking off on Friday, the NBA has unveiled special courts for all 30 teams.
The Toronto Raptors’ new look court features the colors black and gold, fitting the well-known OVO theme. The newest Raptor Dennis Schroder leaked a gold jersey during Media Day and it seems the jersey he wore was this season’s official City Edition jerseys.
On Thursday, the team officially revealed their gold and black jerseys:

The court and jerseys will be worn throughout the duration of the tournament, making for a complementary pairing. Toronto’s City Edition jerseys have featured black and gold, paying homage to famous rapper Drake’s brand OVO.
This year seems to be taking a different twist as gold is the base color and black is the secondary color.
Some new details found in this year’s jersey include pinstripes to honor the Raptors’ inaugural uniforms and ‘We The North’ written in 30 languages on the inside of the jersey.
City Edition jerseys have leaked throughout the past few weeks and as the In-Season Tournament approaches, teams have been confirming these leaks. There have been mixed reception from fans as they feel these jerseys are lackluster.
Toronto has made these OVO-themed jerseys a staple through the past few years. It is hard to go wrong with black and gold, plus it matches the court. Seeing these jerseys on the players and playing on the matching court will give fans a better reception of the jersey.
The Raptors’ first Group Play game is on Friday, Nov. 17 against the Boston Celtics at Scotiabank Arena. Followed by Nov. 21 against the Orlando Magic, Nov. 24 versus the Chicago Bulls and Nov. 28 against the Brooklyn Nets.
