The Raptors aren’t getting a ton of attention going into the new season.

Many media pundits have questions about the Raptors roster and have them regressing this year.

In the latest NBA GM survey, the Raptors weren’t held in high regard either.

NBA general managers reacted to key topics before the 2023-24 season and they answered 50 questions.

One of the biggest things that stands out is that O.G. Anunoby is not included in the list of best defensive players in the NBA.

Anunoby was named to the 2022-23 NBA All-Defensive Second Team and led the league in steals last season.

Also new Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic was tied for fourth place in the category of “Which new or relocated head coach will make the biggest impact on his new team?”

The most surprising part of this year’s NBA GM survey is that the Raptors who were one year removed from Scotiabank Arena being ranked as the No. 1 home-court advantage in the NBA, fell all the way to a tie for fifth place with the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics for this season.

The Raptors have always been known to having one of the best home-court advantages in the NBA. However, the fall in ranking could be due to the Raptors having a disappointing 2022-23 season.

The Raptors or their players weren’t included in the other 47 questions featured in the survey.

Scotiabank Arena unveils new $350 million renovation

Scotiabank Arena recently unveiled a $350 million renovation.

The renovation will create significant changes when it comes to all areas of the venue. This includes changes to suites, premium clubs, concourses, retail spaces, and food and beverage offerings. They also plan to incorporate “state-of-the-art technological innovations”:

Chief Venues & Operations Officer Nick Eaves said that the renovations will have no impact on whatever changes may be coming to ticket prices this season for both the Toronto Raptors and Toronto Maple Leafs.
