The Toronto Raptors have made some front office moves ahead of the 2023-24 NBA season.

Raptors 905 General Manager Chad Sanders has been moved up to the Raptors’ front office.

Sanders will assume the role of Director of Scouting for Toronto. He was named the 2020-21 NBA G League Executive of the Year after leading the 905 to a 12-2 record.

Before joining the Raptors’ G League affiliate, Sanders worked for the Dominican Republic national program and now gets a chance with the parent club.

To fill his role, Luke Winn has been announced as the new Raptors 905 General Manager:

Winn spent seven seasons working for the Raptors and now gets a new opportunity in the G League, while retaining his role as Director of Prospect Strategy.

Former Raptors player Ben Uzoh, who was a part of the Future Basketball Operations program for the team last season, is now a pro scout. Uzoh played for the Raptors in 2011-2012.

Lastly, Rayhan Malik has been promoted to Head Athletic Trainer. Malik was the former assistant athletic trainer for Toronto and head trainer for the Raptors 905 from 2017-2021.

The Raptors have seemingly made their final adjustments to conclude their offseason and are ready to embark on a new season.

Toronto is back in action to kick off the preseason on Oct. 8 against the Sacramento Kings at Rodgers Arena, the first of four games on their preseason schedule.

Toronto possible destination for Damian Lillard

The offseason is coming to an end for the Raptors, but the rumors are still in full swing ahead of training camp.

Portland Trail Blazers’ guard Damian Lillard has still not been traded. There is uncertainty if a trade is going to happen before training camp begins.

In the mists of all of the ongoing rumors, Toronto is now a potential destination for Lillard.
