The Toronto Raptors will try to end their 7-game losing streak when they face off against former Raptors All-Star Pascal Siakam as the Indiana Pacers come to town.
The Pacers have not gotten off to the hot start this season following their Eastern Conference Finals appearance last season.
The Pacers were an offensive juggernaut last year, ranking No. 2 in offensive rating. This season they are 14th. Haliburton is having a down year for the Pacers only averaging 16.3 points and 8.8 assists per game, lower than what he averaged last season. He is also shooting only 39 percent from the field and 29 percent from three.
Meanwhile, for the Raptors they are coming off a thrilling overtime game against the Boston Celtics which they lost by 3.
RJ Barrett put up his first career triple-double and Jakob Poeltl was dominant with a game-high 35 points. He has been stepping up in a big way for the Raptors over his last two games. Tonight he will be going up against defensive center Myles Turner so it should make for a great matchup. Poeltl, Barrett and Gradey Dick need to deliver as Toronto continues to be very depleted with injuries.
Immanuel Quickley (elbow), Bruno Fernando (ankle), Scottie Barnes (orbital fracture) and Bruce Brown (knee) are all out. Ja’Kobe Walter (shoulder) and Kelly Olynyk (back) are questionable.
The Pacers depth has been hit with injuries as well. They have listed Andrew Nembhard (knee), Aaron Nesmith (ankle), Isaiah Jackson (achilles) and James Wiseman (achilles) out. Ben Sheppard (oblique) is questionable.
