The Toronto Raptors closed out their preseason schedule with a 116-112 victory over the Brooklyn Nets.
Immanuel Quickley returned to the Raptors starting lineup for the first time this preseason. He played in 24 minutes putting up 9 points, 10 assists and 3 rebounds.
Scottie Barnes turned in another nice outing scoring 21 points in 26 minutes to go along with 6 rebounds and 3 assists.
The Raptors had 5 players finish in double figures, including Chris Boucher who exited the game in the fourth quarter with a right knee injury.
Immanuel Quickley is back
It was great to see Quickley back in the Raptors lineup. He was the spark plug for the Raptors offense with his 10 assists. He came alive in the third quarter with his playmaking, feeding Shead and Dick for three-pointers which expanded the Raptors lead. Quickley was wearing a brace on his left hand but he did not seem bothered at all.
Scottie Barnes looks like he’s in midseason form
Barnes looks ready to burst. He had another impressive showing on efficient shooting numbers. Barnes shot 7-for-12 from the field and 3-for-6 from three. The 23-year-old also had a highlight reel dunk:

Raptors last roster spot
Bruno Fernando, Jamison Battle and Jahmi’us Ramsey all got playing time in the Raptors last preseason game. Overall, Battle has looked the most impressive with his shooting ability. However, the Raptors might elect to go with Fernando because of his size. Fernando hasn’t really shown enough but with the Raptors thin in their frontcourt with Jakob Poeltl and Olynyk as the team’s only centers, they may give that guaranteed contract to Fernando.

The Raptors finished their preseason schedule 3-2 and now it’s time for the real thing. The Raptors will kickoff their regular season schedule on Oct. 23 when they host the Cleveland Cavaliers.
