The Toronto Raptors will be in East Group B for the 2024 Emirates NBA Cup, formerly known as the In-Season Tournament.
The NBA Cup will include a new logo and will celebrate the league’s new global marketing partnership with Emirates.
Joining the Raptors in their group will be the Milwaukee Bucks, Indiana Pacers, Miami Heat and Detroit Pistons. The Raptors will take on the Bucks and Heat at home, while playing the Pacers and Pistons on the road.
East Group A features the New York Knicks, Orlando Magic, Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets, and Charlotte Hornets.
Group C features the Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, Atlanta Hawks and Washington Wizards.
In the Western Conference, Group A includes the Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Clippers, Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets and Portland Trail Blazers. Group B features the Oklahoma City Thunder, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Lakers, Utah Jazz and San Antonio Spurs. Group C will have the Denver Nuggets, Dallas Mavericks, New Orleans Pelicans, Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies.
Tournament games will take place on Tuesday’s and Friday’s from Nov. 12 to Dec 3. Each team will play one game against each of the four opponents in their group.
The top teams in each group will advance along with the top two second place teams in each conference. The knockout stage will feature single-elimination playoff games to determine this year’s champion.
The quarterfinals of the Emirates NBA Cup will take place on Dec. 10 and 11 with the semi-finals taking place on Dec. 14 and finals set for Dec. 17 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The Lakers won the tournament last year.
