The Toronto Raptors have locked up their point guard of the future.
Quickley intends to sign a five-year, $175 million contract, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The deal will pay him roughly $35 million per season to stay with the Raptors:

The Raptors acquired the 25-year-old as one of the main pieces in the O.G. Anunoby deal back in December.
He was set to enter restricted free agency this summer, but the Raptors would have been able to match any offers made to Quickley in free agency.
Scottie Barnes and Quickley will likely make about 46 percent of the salary cap for the Raptors in 2025-26, per Sports Illustrated’s Aaron Rose.
The Raptors now have their young core locked up after re-signing Quickley. They signed Barnes to a five-year extension worth up to $270 million, which will begin in 2025-26. Meanwhile, RJ Barrett is under contract through the 2026-27 season. Also, Gradey Dick is on a rookie contract for the next three seasons.
The hope now is that Quickley can continue to develop. He saw his numbers jump once he became the Raptors full-time starting point guard. He averaged 18.6 points and 6.8 assists while shooting 42.2 percent from the field and 39.5 percent from three in 38 games with Toronto.
Quickley also scored 25 or more points 11 times last season, 10 of those performances came after he was traded to Toronto. He had 6 or more assists in 24 games, 22 of them with the Raptors.
The deal for Quickley cannot be made official until July 6.
Scottie Barnes intends to sign 5-year contract extension with Raptors
The Toronto Raptors have spent a lot of money in the past week.
Before inking Immanuel Quickley to a new deal, the Raptors locked up their face of the franchise Scottie Barnes.
The Raptors All-Star intends to sign a five-year maximum rookie extension that could be worth up to $270 million. This would make Barnes the highest paid player in Raptors history.
