Scottie Barnes burst onto the scene for the Toronto Raptors in the 2023-24 season.
In his third year Barnes had his best season as a pro, despite it being cut short due to injury. He was named an All-Star for the first-time in his career.
In 60 games for Toronto this season Barnes averaged 19.9 points, 8.2 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.5 blocks. He shot it 47.5 percent from the field and 34.1 percent from deep.
Barnes’ popularity has grown a lot this season and now that he is the face of the Raptors franchise he will be a fan favorite for many years to come.
As a result Barnes currently has the top-selling NBA jersey in Canada:

Barnes topped the list for NBA jersey sales in Canada back in January and he is still No. 1.
Raptors rookie Gradey Dick was 15th on the list in January and now he is 14th in sales moving up one spot.
This shows that Raptors fans are investing in the younger players on this team. Barnes is going to be the main building block for the Raptors moving forward and Dick is also going to be a big piece in this rebuild.
With the way Barnes has been playing, his jersey should remain a top-selling one in Canada for a long time to come.
ESPN’s latest mock draft has Raptors taking Matas Buzelis at No. 6
As the Raptors continue their rebuild, they will have an important 2024 NBA Draft to capitalize on.
The Raptors could have three picks in this year’s draft. They have a 45.8 percent chance of keeping their own first-round pick.
ESPN projects the Raptors doing so as they have Toronto taking Matas Buzelis at No. 6.
