The Toronto Raptors finally got their pizza party.
Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic brought a stack of pizzas from Makers Pizza Thursday afternoon for the team to enjoy following practice.
At first Rajakovic said that he wanted to take the team out for dinner once they won three games in a row. But then the dinner turned into a pizza party.
Immanuel Quickley shared on Snapchat that the team did indeed get their pizza at the OVO Athletic Centre:

The Raptors earned the pizza party by notching their first three-game winning streak of the season on Feb. 26 against the Indiana Pacers.
The pizza party started out as a joke but then turned into an actual thing that the internet jumped on.
Rajakovic told reporters in Indiana following the Raptors win that his team is humble and that they wanted pizza instead of a formal dinner.
Rajakovic even said that he would pay for something more than just pizza. However, Quickley got the pizza buzz started when he posted a series of photos on Instagram with the caption “I believe I was promised pizza”:
Rookie Gradey Dick even got in on the fun and shared a series of photos with the pizza emoji in the caption:
Toronto failed to continue their winning streak on Feb. 28 when the team lost the Dallas Mavericks, but at least they had something to cheer about Thursday.
Raptors look to get back on track
Hopefully the Raptors can get started on a new three-game winning streak on March 1 when they host the Golden State Warriors.
