The Toronto Raptors will be getting RJ Barrett back in the starting lineup when they take on the Indiana Pacers.
Barrett (knee) is not listed on Toronto’s injury report.
Barrett was out for the second half of Toronto’s back-to-back set on Feb. 23 but will return to action Monday.
Over his last seven appearances, the Canadian has averaged 18.4 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 33.1 minutes per game.
The Raptors are currently 4 games back of the Atlanta Hawks for the final play-in spot in the East so every game will be important for them down the stretch.
Barrett’s return to the starting lineup will certainly be a big boost for the Raptors. His ability to get downhill and attack the basket has helped the Raptors transition and half-court offense.
Recently Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic said that he sees NBA legend Manu Ginobili in RJ Barrett as both players have a similar play style.
Barrett has found his footing in Toronto as he continues to make strides as a player.
He is averaged 20.1 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 20 games for the Raptors thus far.
Barrett looks to help the Raptors earn their first three-game winning streak of the season.
Raptors take on Pacers
The Raptors have won back-to-back games and now will have a true test when they take on Pascal Siakam and the Pacers in Indiana.
The last time these two teams met was back on Feb. 14 when the Pacers came away with the 127-125 victory.
Toronto has since played very well and they are looking to return the favor this time around.
