The Toronto Raptors are officially in their new era as a franchise.
The team has gone through major changes over the last year losing Fred VanVleet in free agency and then trading both O.G. Anunoby and Pascal Siakam.
Toronto is now focused on developing their young talent and rebuilding the right way.
The Raptors new young core is in place with Immanue Quickley, RJ Barrett and Scottie Barnes leading the charge.
While things haven’t been smooth lately for the Raptors, their future is looking bright.
Two former Boston Celtics legends Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett had high praise about what the Raptors are currently doing via Ticket & The Truth:
Don’t take the @Raptors lightly.
Their new pieces RJ Barrett, Bruce Brown, and Immanuel Quickley are hungry and don’t take nights off.

There’s a lot of truth to what Pierce and Garnett said. This new situation is now favoring Barnes to become an All-Star. Also, Barnes and Barrett have a chance to become a ‘two-headed monster’ as Garnett mentioned.
While they likely won’t be spoilers this season, Toronto is building something special for the foreseeable future.
The upcoming 2024 NBA Draft is shaping up to be a huge one for Toronto’s future. They are currently projected to have No. 6, No. 16, No. 26 and No. 31 in the draft.
If the Raptors can nail the upcoming draft and continue to develop their three young players in Quickley, Barrett and Barnes then they could be back in business sooner rather than later.
Raptors injury report vs. Clippers
According to Sports Illustrated’s Aaron Rose, Darko Rajakovic said that Immanuel Quickley will not play against the Los Angeles Clippers as he is considered day-to-day. Also it seems like Jakob Poeltl is doubtful to play as well.
